Free Amigurumi Strawberry Pattern
I just dyed my hair pink and all I could think about was cute pink strawberries! (and flowers but we’ll get to that some other day) I’ve been considering making a whole bunch of them and putting them on a little garland to hang somewhere.
Anyways, here’s what you’ll need!
- Worsted weight pink or red yarn, I used Lily sugar n’ cream in coral I think I can’t find the wrapper or the color anywhere online for some reason
- Worsted weight green yarn, I used lily sugar n’ cream in mint
- 4.00 mm crochet hook for cotton yarn, 3.5 for any other yarn
- Yarn needle
- Stuffing or yarn scraps to stuff your creation
sc2tog=single crochet two together
trc= treble crochet
Add a stitch marker and move it at the last stitch of every row, we’ll be working in a continuous spiral without joining.
Starting with pink or red yarn
Round 1: ch-2, sc-6 in the 1st ch
R 2: sc-2 in each of the next 6 sc (12 total)
R 3: sc-1 in the next 12 sc (12)
R 4 : sc-2 in the next sc, sc-1 in the next sc, repeat 6 times (18)
R 5: sc-1 in the next 18 sc (18)
R 6: repeat row 5
R 7: sc-2 in the next sc, sc-1 in the next 2 sc, repeat 6 times (24)
R 8: sc-1 in each of the next 24 sc (24)
R 9: Repeat row 8
R 10: Repeat row 8
R 11: sc2tog sc-1 in the next 2 sc, repeat 6 times (18)
R 12: sc2tog, sc-1 in the next sc, repeat 6 times (12)
-add stuffing now-
R 13: sc2tog 6 times
tie off leaving a tail about 6 inches long, weave the tail through the last 6 stitches a few times and pull tight to close, pull the tail into the strawberry and cut.
Now using green yarn
R 1: ch 2, sc-6 in 1st ch slst into first sc
R 2: ch-3 trc ch-3 slst into the first sc, ch-3 trc ch-3 slst in next sc, do that 6 times
Tie off and attach the green bit to the top of your strawberry! I attached mine like a button
